Marcus Gomez & Partners recently conceptualised, wrote and designed the “Malaysia Investment Performance Report 2012” for the Malaysia Investment Development Authority (MIDA) in partnership with Sasyaz Holdings Sdn Bhd.

Malaysia broke all investment and employment records in 2012, but what really stands out is the quality of the investments that were attracted and the jobs that were created during the year under review. The country attracted RM162.4 billion in direct investments in 2012, much of which were investments into new and emerging technologies — more than any other year. In the process, Malaysia also created 182,841 new jobs – an outstanding achievement considering the glum state of world’s economy.

The figures and analyses behind this remarkable achievement are presented in the Malaysia Investment Performance Report 2012, themed “Investment for Transformation”. It may be viewed and downloaded from the Official Portal of the Malaysia Investment Development Authority (MIDA). Marcus Gomez .
